  • The 2006 Saracina Sauvignon Blanc is a penetrating, sharply focused wine that shows the complexity of old vines and old clones. The palate is crisp and mouth-watering but with an intense mouth-feel and long finish that are products of the extended lees aging and batonnage. The aromas of lime, pink grapefruit, white peaches and jasmine recall a Loire-style sauvignon blanc. This vintage is our most uncompromising, mineral-laden sauvignon blanc to date.
  • Acclaim: Floral, spicy bouquet of Meyer lemon, grapefruit, smoky lees, white flowers. Sharply focused citrus and pear on palate, with a bracing jolt of tangy minerality adding energy.
